About

Lisbon it's a universe of flavors waiting to be discovered, there is a whole gastronomic world in addition to the typical codfish or custard tart.

We want to present you to an alternative to traditional tourism. Our tour guides are "alfacinhas de gema" (nickname given to the natives of Lisbon) and they will take you to taste our varied cuisine.

On tour through the beautiful city of Lisbon, in small groups, we will let you know the best Lisbon has to offer, the most trendy spots and some of the best restaurants and bars the the people from Lisbon love.

But if you want to experience the countryside in Portugal, near Lisbon 30 Km south, is the Village of Azeitão. In this little Village there are some of the most famous wine cellars, as well as the famous Azeitão cheese produced from sheep's milk, a creamy and very tasty cheese. In Azeitão you will also have the opportunity to visit a small workshop where tiles are painted according to the old techniques of tile painting in Portugal.

And if none of these experiences excites you, we can prepare a Taylor-Made Tour for you, that can be a cooking class in a traditional Portuguese home or a private gastronomic Tour.

Eat Drink Walk

Eat Drink Walk was established in 2013. We're a small family business passionate about Portuguese, history, food, wine and culture. Over a decade ago, we noticed that whilst tourism in Portugal was obviously growing, particularly in the Lisbon and surrounding areas, it often remained corporate, stuffy and impersonal. So... we thought we'd try and help change that by sharing some of our hidden gems in a much more intimate and personal way. We guide you in small groups, showing our carefully curated locations, where you can experience the fabulous architecture and sublime Portuguese food in glorious, laidback settings... with conversation that flows as easy as our wine. Come and see for yourself why we love what we do so much, and why it's so important to us all. We show and tell... and you discover!
